Sibling Love

We have a lot of affection and laughter that goes on at this house. It's Emery's goal in life to make Cohen laugh or smile at her anytime she talks to him (Not a hard feat, honestly). It's Cohen's goal to have Emery acknowledge him by him pulling her hair, grabbing her toy, taking her drink away, yelling loudly or crying when she walks out of the room.

Yesterday, they were especially lovey. Cohen was handing out big sloppy kisses all morning -- much to Emery's delight and disgust, when she realized how much slobber was on her cheeks. Here's a sequence of the kissing action:

Contrary to what Drew thinks, this is not incest. He is only kissing her cheek -- not mouth on mouth action.

And Cohen trying to steal my phone away to kiss me:

Since we have wood floors throughout the house, Cohen has a lot of mobility in the walker to get to places. His favorite thing is to put him at one end of the dining room and he will "run" as fast as his little legs can propel him to the porch door or fridge, where he will he stand there and watch outside playing with the balls on his walker.

His new activity in the walker is to follow Emery wherever she goes. She calls it "chasing her," which looks like it when he gets going with his arms straight up in the air. He can jump the wood beam in the floor separating the dining room linoleum and the wooden floor hallway to chase her all the way to her room when he is adventurous. Here is a video of him chasing her last night. Ignore the rocky recording. We had some obstacles to avoid. :)

Over and out --
