The sherwood family has a crazy tradition of dressing up to pick someone up at the airport. I don't have time to get into the entire background story since this is being typed on mal's phone. However there will be pictures of our costumes(nasty 80's style christmas sweaters). Phil is a wearing workout clothes, tights with boxers overtop, and towona is gangsta. I'm sure John David will be very impressed and hopefully embarrassed when he walks off the plane

This is for you, Megan

Since we already don't keep up with many of our friends from college and life is just going to get busier, we figured we might as well attempt a blog to keep everyone we care about updated with life at the Schlabach household. So thanks to Megan Randolph and her request for us to start a blog, here is our first post.

Now, where to begin?! Here's a brief update on our life since Abilene:

A year ago we moved back to Ohio for Drew to begin graduate school. I work for my parents' business doing marketing, advertising and whatever else they throw at me. Drew started Physical Therapy school at Walsh University in August and is just finishing his first semester.

We are surrounded by dogs and soon will throw a baby into the mix.

We have a chocolate and yellow Labrador named Bella and Gus, and if anyone knows us well, they know we seem to have a knack for picking dogs with brain disorders. These two are no exception and seem to be stranger than our previous pets. We'll soon post pictures.

In May, Drew and I will be parents! Yikes. What a scary, yet interesting thought. With the addition of a baby to our family, we'd like all of you to see how well we try to adapt to life.

We will TRY to keep this updated with pictures of a growing belly, (mine and Drew's), puppies and soon a baby.
